The old NUS Card is now known as the Democracy Card, which can be used as proof of your student status. The Democracy Card is free but it is not a discount card.
You have to apply by clicking here http://www.nusextra.co.uk
or visiting one of our Students' Union Issuing Centres. You will need to have a digital photo and the application costs ten pounds which would need to be paid for by debit or credit card. The NUS Extra is available to all students. Students may have to wait a few weeks before receiving their card in the post or be notified for collection from our offices.
