Pan African Society (PAS)
To inform and inspire.
(African=all peoples of African decent irrespective of birthplace)
The society was set up and has been actively running since September 2002.
The society runs weekly meetings discussions and debates on topical, educational and burning issues relevant to the Black/African community and Students.
This is done from a Pan African perspective drawing from our historical background. Some of the activities engaged in the past year were guest speakers, film screenings, hot debates and work in conjunction with ACS in a successful
positive cultural event centred around hard hitting spoken word and song 'SOULJAH'.
The society has a number of events planned for the coming year and with the help of new members we hope to grow and have an even better year 2004/2005!!!!
