Who are 'StARs'?

Student Academic Representatives (StARs) are student representatives at a course level. They are nominated from among the students at each level of study on all courses across the University.

What does a StAR do?

A StAR represents the views of their fellow students on their course. They raise issues and matters of concern to the Students' Union. StARs receive reputable training through the National Student Learning Programme and gain invaluable skills.

How can I become a StAR?

Becoming a StAR is easy and can prove very rewarding. If you require more information regarding the StARs scheme, you can come into to one of our offices and have a chat or call 020 7320 2233 or alternatively send us an email!

Contact your Course Leader at the beginning of your course regarding StARs elections.
