Out of Hours Support


No matter what time of day it is, support is always available. Consult our directory of Out of Hours Support Services if you require assistance when the Advice Service is closed.

  • Samaritans: Anonymous, non-judgemental and non-advisory support service. Open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Call 116 123 for free.

  • Togetherall: A clinically managed community providing peer-to-peer support. Trained practitioners are available 24/7 for extra support, when needed.

  • Papyrus: Helpline and support for young people under 35 experiencing suicidal thoughts. Call 0800 068 41 41.

  • Centre 33: Supports young people up to the age of 25 with mental health, caring responsibilities, housing, sexual health and more.

  • Mind: Mental health charity, providing advice & support to empower anyone experiencing mental health difficulties. Also providing information for family/friends of those with mental health difficulties.

  • Campaign Against Living Miserably (C.A.L.M.): Male mental health charity. The helpline (0800 58 58 58) is open 5pm-midnight every day.

  • NHS: Visit your doctor to speak to them – they may be able to refer you to some form of counselling.

  • Sane: A leading UK mental health charity working to improve the quality of life for anyone affected by mental illness. 





  • The Havens - Whitechapel Site: Sexual assault referral centres offer medical, practical and emotional support to anyone who has been sexually assaulted or raped. They have specially trained paediatricians / Forensic Nurse Examiners (FNE) and support workers to care for you.

  • Solace - Rape Crisis: Our North London rape crisis service offers a range of services to women and girls 13+ who have experienced any form of sexual violence at any time in their lives.

  • Survivors UK: Support service for men & boys who have experienced rape, sexual abuse & sexual violence either recently or in the past.

  • Victim Support:  Victim Support is an independent charity dedicated to supporting people affected by crime and traumatic events in England and Wales. Our specialist teams support people to cope until they feel they are back on track with their lives. You don’t have to report a crime to get our help.



  • LGBT Foundation: Support services to LGBT people.

  • Stonewall: Information & support for LGBT communities and their allies.

  • Stand Against Inequality and Racism (SARI) : An agency that provides support and advice to victims of hate, including racist, faith-based, disablist, homophobic, transphobic, age-based or gender-based.

  • Scope: Support & information for people with disabilities.

  • Switchboard: A safe space for anyone to discuss anything, including sexuality, gender identity, sexual health and emotional wellbeing. 


  • Turning Point: A leading social enterprise that works with people who need support with their drug and alcohol use, mental health, offending behaviour, unemployment issues and people with a learning disability.

  • NHS: Finder for Drug Treatment Services.
