Green Impact

What is Green Impact?

Green Impact for Students’ Unions (GISU) is a flagship sustainability awards programme for the student movement.

Our objectives

By taking part in Green Impact we are building a framework for impactful projects and campaigns around climate justice and equality, curriculum reform, health and wellbeing and much more.

We believe that our Students’ Union plays a key role in helping students to gain the skills, knowledge and experience needed and are equipped to deal with the global challenges we face.

Throughout the Green Impact programme we collaboratively with our union staff, officers and students are addressing key issues and embedding sustainability and social justice across campus, the curriculum, and wider society.
