The Student Council is the main representative body of the Students’ Union and is made up of students who represent a different groups from across the University.
What does Student Council do?
The Student Council discusses and debates issues which are of interest or concern to students. It provides recommendations to the Trustees of the Students’ Union and offers direction to Full-time Officers and holds them to account. It can raise its concerns to and be consulted by the University. All students are welcome to attend and speak at Student Council meetings. Any student may request copies of student council meeting agenda or minutes, to do so email firstname.lastname@example.org

Who is on the Student Council?
The Student Council is made up of directly elected members, full and part-time officers a.k.a the executive (all elected at the March 2020 annual election), student rep members, society and sports members (elected in late October and ealy November 2020).
