Dear Postgraduate Research Students 

The following committees each have a seat for a level eight student to fill. It is a chance to represent the interests and views of students studying at your level both at university level and within your school. It is also a chance to contribute to the direction and priorities University's ongoing research work. It will also give you valuable experience useful for future employability. I very much hope you will consider putting your name forward. In accordance with the terms of reference of the committees, the Student Council of London Met Student's Union will vote on who takes the seats for each committee at its meeting on Tuesday 5th November 4pm. Those who nominate themselves will be invited to make a short speech at the Student council in support of their nomination.

To clarify there is a central, university-wide Research and Knowledge Exchange Committee as well as a separate Research and Knowledge Exchange committee within each of the six schools which make up London Met. You can sit on both the Uni-wide one and the School committee if you wish (or one or the other).
