Students’ unions are separate to universities and are led by students for students. They exist to represent your needs and interests whilst you are studying. They provide lots of opportunities, activities and events to improve your time at your university.

Your money goes straight to the Club or Society that you join. This amount contributes towards your chosen club/society’s activities. The amount you pay is set by the club/society treasurer each year to make sure that the society/club has enough budget to operate but also to create events and activities for its members.
Yes, for as long as you have the time and desire to, you can join as many societies that you like to.
