Our aim

•    To represent the students of the University in matters affecting their interests and to act as the means of communication between the students and the University

To provide effective advice, information and representation, skilled members of staff have been appointed - the Casework Advisers.

The role of the Casework Adviser - how do we help students?

•    By providing independent information and advice and supporting students with:

•    Matters of Academic Misconduct (plagiarism, collusion, cheating etc.)
•    Written Appeals
•    Mitigating Circumstances applications
•    Representation at oral hearings
•    Accompanying them to meetings with university staff
•    Supporting them through the formal complaints procedure
•    Signposting to other University services
