• The Light-Filled Atrium: The focal point of the campus. It's the perfect social space to grab a coffee, display work, or bounce creative ideas around between classes.

• The Fashion & Textile Studios: Packed with industry-grade equipment, pattern-cutting tables, and looms, these high-energy studio spaces are where your designs go from initial sketches to full-scale runway realities.

• The Fine Art Project Spaces: Expansive, bright, and custom-designed zones that give you the physical space to paint, sculpt, build installations, and experiment with your creative practice without limits.

Local Eats & Treats (On a Student Budget)

Shoreditch is a world-class food hub, but you don’t need a city salary to eat like royalty around here:

• Vietnamese on Kingsland Road: Literally right outside your door. This stretch of Kingsland Road is world-famous for its incredible Vietnamese restaurants (like Sông Quê Café or Tay Do). You can grab a steaming, massive bowl of comforting Pho or a crunchy Bánh mì baguette for a bargain price.

• Boxpark Shoreditch: Just a short walk down towards the station. Built entirely out of shipping containers, it's a massive street food market. Keep an eye out for their weekday student discounts on everything from vegan burgers to high-stacked souvlaki.

• Columbia Road Markets: Just a few blocks away. While the Sunday Flower Market is iconic for a stroll, the surrounding bakeries and deli shops offer incredible independent pastries and quick lunches during the week.

The Best Pubs

Need to unwind after a long day in the studios or celebrate a successful project? Check these out:

• The Spread Eagle: Located just up the road on Kingsland Road. It is London's first 100% vegan pub, serving up brilliant plant-based pub food, great beers, and a wonderfully welcoming, inclusive atmosphere that makes it a massive hit with creative students.

• The Bike Shed Motorcycle Club: Hidden in the railway arches right down the street. Don't let the name fool you; you don't need a motorbike to get in! It’s a massive, incredibly cool, rustic space to grab a coffee or a pint, do some casual laptop work, or just soak in the unique Shoreditch aesthetic.

• The Commercial Tavern: A short walk towards Brick Lane. This pub is an absolute visual wonderland, eccentrically decorated with quirky artwork and vintage furniture. It has a fantastic, artsy vibe that makes it the perfect spot to talk project ideas over a cheap drink.

Green Spaces

When you need a screen break or want to sketch out in nature:

• Hoxton Square: Just a 5-minute walk from campus. It’s one of London's oldest green squares, bordered by trendy cafes and overhung with shady trees. It is the absolute prime spot for eating a sandwich on the grass in the summer.

• Regent’s Canal: Only a short stroll north. Walking down to the canal towpath provides an instant escape from the noisy city streets. You can walk or cycle along the water, past colourful barges, all the way to Broadway Market.
