About this group

Welcome to the Data Science & AI Society

Are you curious about Data Science and Artificial Intelligence but not sure where to start? Already experienced but looking to connect, grow, and build real-world skills?

Whether you're a total beginner or already exploring AI tools and data platforms, the Data Science & AI Society is your space to learn, network, and lead in one of the most in-demand fields of the future — no tech background required.

Our Aims

  1. Beginner-Friendly Learning: We create an inclusive and supportive environment where students from any discipline can learn and build foundational skills in Data Science and AI. We host a weekly learning circle to help you take your first steps or your next big leap into the world of data.
  2. Industry Connections & Career Support: We bridge the gap between university and the workplace, from guest lectures with tech professionals and alumni, to networking events and access to internships or graduate roles opportunities.
  3. Real-World Experience: Learning by doing is key. We plan to partner with platforms like DataCamp and Coursera to help society members earn scholarships and certificates.
