Who I am?

Hey, My name is Manpreet. I am electing for VP Activities and Opportunities. I’m an international student who is about to graduate MBA, first class hopefully! I am a multitasker, innovative thinker and a reliable friend. I am driven for this role to help you unleash your potential and make you feel involved within the student community. 

Why Vote Manpreet?

I vouch for equal rights and opportunities. Either as a volunteer or an attendee, I have been part of many important events last year that has helped me reflect myself as an individual who has a voice and wishes change.

As one of you, I understand how overwhelming and challenging it could be to follow your passion and decipher your career path. I stand for helping you develop your skills, and identify opportunities with better industry engagement, guest lectures and alumni events. To make your overall experience rewarding and fun, I aspire to equally emphasis on leisure events and empowering different cultures.

If elected, as VP Activities and Opportunities I will:

• Start a Language Club that will allow students from different backgrounds to engage, learn and interact in a fun way.
• Introduce an Alumni Club, Guest Lecture Series and Industry Engagement to expand your network and create more career opportunities.
• Educational and Leisure Trips, allowing you to meet students from other schools and make new friends.
• Organize an Inter-University sports event.
• Build student community by empowering and celebrating different cultures being part of the Student Union
• Encourage students to get involved in societies and student groups. 
• Make sure students feel welcome and included within the student community at London Metropolitan University.

As a Vice President, I will listen to your opinions and suggestions to make your experience countable and as memorable as it could be at the University.
