Hi! I am Nahid Binta Islam, your current vice president for activities and opportunities. As your vice president for the 2024-25 academic year, I have delivered some of the key projects as follows:

Project for the 2024/25 academic year

1. I successfully delivered a CV writing workshop to make you more employable.

2. Created flexible installment plan for our students. I lobbied some students to get flexible installment plans.

3. Successfully convinced the university to have more specific emails about resit and failed modules reminder

4. Successfully lobbied the university to have a 1-to-1-1 session for our students with the Income Collection Team.

5. I also successfully delivered: Christmas Party, Halloween Party, multi-language campus tour, Valentine Day vision board making. and many society events.

6. I have organized alumnae events for every school.

If I get re-elected, I promise to deliver the following for the 2025/26 academic year:

1. More Installments Plan on Your Tuition Fees specially for the undergrade students.

2. Creating More jobs Opportunities including volunteering and part time job options inside the university.

3. Work with the university accommodation team to provide you with cost-effective student accommodation.

4. Organize your study tour.

5. Run the information session for the PSW visa applicants.

6. More free food options through food bank facilities.

7. Introduce £3  meal on campus

8. Improve better communication systems in our school offices.
