Want to be a part of a community of disruptors? Want to learn about anti-racist practices? Want to develop your content creation skills? Learn about intersectionality and critical race theory? LOOK NO FURTHER!

What is the project about?
Inspired by the University’s Education for Social Justice Framework (ESJF) and the 'Disrupt the Discourse' initiative, ‘London Met Decoded’ aims to mobilise a learning community of students committed to social justice. Hosted by the Students' Union and an academic mentor, students will learn about anti racism practice and how this intersects with other aspects of social injustice. Framed through the lens of positionality, identity and the lived experiences of our student body, students will engage in a creative process of storytelling, and the co-creation of content such as video logs and podcasts for promoting social justice.
What else?
- Students get to engage in intellectual debate as part of fun meet ups.
- Learn about creating digital content for social change.
- Learn about Critical Race Theory and Intersectionality.
- Meet people with similar interests and looking for new learning experiences.
