PERPETUA OKEKE

One vote for all

Hi everyone, my name is Perpetua Nkeiruka Okeke, a final year student of Economics and Finance. I am standing for the role of VP Equity and Welfare for 2022/2023 academic year. I believe it is very pertinent to have someone who is very passionate, empathetic and caring as a welfare officer. The above qualities best describe me hence I am standing for this post.

Why you should vote for me;

  • Excellent welfare services: as we know that student welfare is not just about providing a high level of well-being and social support for the student but also to make sure that every student enjoys first hand and good welfare service while studying at the university including both those on campus and off campus, if voted in i will ensure that every student enjoys this service greatly.
  • Equal opportunity: if voted in as the VP equity and welfare, i will ensure that all students are treated equally and no one is marginalised based on race, colour, gender or sexual orientation.
  • I will also ensure that every student who wishes to participate in any activity of the university is encouraged to do so.
  • I will also work closely with the University authorities and the student union team to ensure that we provide amazing welfare service for all students if elected into office.
