A Prism has a quality to break the light into different fragments of "vibgyor" ! If compared with real Life, imagine someone who has a holistic vision to look at things. Imagine who sees the unseen yet standing between everyone. Having been experienced from different industries and interacted with different types of people around the globe, I look at things very holistically. I never judge the book by its cover however I understand the mindset of those who judges.

I, as a student council member will have the responsibility to understand the different facets of the students. I am a good listener and believe in deep diving to the root cause. This will help me to solve an issue, whatever be the complexity.

I am a good communicator and an observer. Communication is not only verbal but includes non-verbal traits. Having been a trainer, I can read body language and observe interaction tone. This quality will help me to support my friends as not only will I connect well with them but also take them into confidence.

There is a saying "Commitment is an act, not a word". Unless commitment is made, there are only promises and hopes; but no plans. As a student council member, I will have to make achievable commitments and to adhere to. Commitment for me is to set a goal for accomplishment. It will unlock the doors of imagination and would allow vision to accomplish towards my committed goal.

I believe in "Unity in diversity" and that makes me a team player. It is imperative that I need to work with the council to generate ideas and organise events. I share ideas and am an active player to the work I involve myself. Thus I will be active member of the tasks associated and would seek the role with open hands.

Finally, I like to take initiatives and ownership. I consider myself as a responsible voice of our team. My role would be either to "solve" or "resolve" the mushrooming issues brought forward.

Having said that I am open to learning new ideas and would work to the best of my capabilities and knowledge!
