THE DIFFERENCE IS SHADE.

Hi!! I’m Shade why I believe that I am the right candidate to represent the student body in this role, is because of my unique mix of experiences and I want to contribute to improving the Student experience at London Metropolitan.

Being a  Student at London Met has been an eventful encounter from cramming notes to finessing references; I still chose to use my time here to really get connected and involved with what the University has to offer; whether that be participating in sporting events, organising socials or co-managing the ACS. It’s been amazing meeting the different moving students and that’s one thing I’m proud of here at LMU the raw diversity. Working at the student union has given me the chance to interact with many students and I have a surplus of experience representing the universities rich diversity at a national level.

If voted in my main objectives will be:

  1. Providing more SUPPORT for students by DEVELOPING the Student Services reach to students in need
  2. Addressing the attainment of good first degrees between BME and non-BME students through MORE interactions and structural changes.
  3. IMPROVING student engagement lobby to keep Wednesday free for enrichment
  4. INCREASE awareness in the universities' sustainability programme.

As a mature female student of PoC who also has a di[s]fferent-abilty. Who I am, gives me the advantage to relate to others perspective. My core values focus on Equality, Justice and Opportunity for all...

TO MAKE A CHANGE THE DIFFERENCE IS SHADE.
