Whether you are a fully formed team of 5 or a lone warrior looking to forge new alliances with students from your university, this is your chance to tactically show you’re head and shoulders above the rest. In conjunction with the National University Esports League (NUEL), you will be entered into tournaments of up to four hours and battle with up to 16 teams of 5.
Do you have what it takes?
Here is some further information from our partner that you will need to read:
Welcome to The NUEL. We’re the home of UK university esports, running video gaming tournaments and events especially for students throughout the year.
We will be running the tournament and making sure you have a great experience. To join in, this is what you need to do next:
Complete the Google form - https://forms.gle/JcfqPTWRzSEkczEy9 . If you’ve signed up with friends already, that’s no problem - you all still need to fill out a form each. Please try to complete this form ASAP so we have time to create your teams!
Join our Discord server. At 7:00pm, jump into the ‘Freshers Tournament’ voice channel in our Discord.
If you need any help, you can contact us either at support@thenuel.com, or in the #support text channel in our Discord server.
Information about the tournament:
The tournament is planned to be a single-elimination playoff: your team will be matched up against another, win and you’re through to the next round. Win all of your games and you’re the champions - simple!
Don’t worry if you get knocked out though: Our tournament admins will be online all night, and after every round we’ll be arranging friendly games between the teams and players who are sticking around.
We’ll just be playing for pride this time round, but if you fancy taking a shot at some big prizes, you can find out more information about our national League of Legends tournament at www.thenuel.com.
Looking forward to seeing you!
