The minutes of the last meeting were approved.
Motion 1 was passed and was about moving Assessment Deadlines, from 3pm to 11.59pm.
Motion 2 was passed and consisted of the alteration of the Student Partnership Agreement to include freedom of Expression.
Motion 3 was passed and was about Duvet Days which consists of a day off University, not because a student is sick but because they need some time to rest.
Motion 4 was passed and was about LMSU and University Mental Health support provision.
Finally, LMSU’s affiliations to National Union of Students, British Universities and Colleges Sport, Advice UK, London Uni Sports League, Student Radio Association, Student Publication Association, National Student Television Association and National Council of Voluntary Organisations, were voted on, and all were approved.
The meeting took place in the Henry Thomas Room at the Holloway Campus but was also ‘hybrid’ with many students attending remotely! Other students who were unavailable decided to participate by choosing to vote ‘by proxy’ i.e. filling in a form to confirm they give permission for one of our full-time officers to vote on their behalf.
Thank you to all who participated in such a successful Annual Members Meeting!
