The Students' Union Elections ran from the 1st - 5th March and were a great success with great efforts put in by all candidates on their campaigns and manifestos. We are very proud and pleased with all those who took part in helping with the elections and wish the best of success to our future SU elected winners!
On the 5th of March at 5pm, we announced the winners of our Election 2021/22.

Election winners
Full-time Officers
President - Yasmeen Bashir was elected in the fifth round with a total of 248 votes.
AAD & Computing and Digital Media - Precious Agho was elected in the first round with a total of 259 votes.
Guildhall School of Business and Law & Human Sciences- Margarita Damai was elected in the first round with a total of 196 votes.
Social Sciences & Social Professions - Denise Ruth Morrison was elected in the first round with a total of 296 votes.
Part-time Officers
LGBTQ+ Students Officer - Jamie Sanna was elected in the first round with a total of 87 votes.
BAME Students Officer - Nancy Barney was elected in the first round with a total of 119 votes.
Disabled Students Officer - Rachel Eve Morgan was elected in the first round with a total of 37 votes.
Women's Officer - Mim Hossain was elected in the first round with a total of 148 votes.
NUS Conference delegates
Nancy Barney and Margarita Damai were both elected in the first round.
Student Council members

In the first round, Jhenniqua, Ricardo, Charlotte, Patricia and Margarita have been elected . In the second round, Pavithira and Joanne have been elected. In the fourth round, Reshma was elected. In the sixth round, Guy was elected.
