The African continent is a diverse and vibrant region with a rich cultural heritage and a wealth of history. Adopting the African society can provide a great opportunity to connect with other individuals who share a passion for Africa and its people. Supported by LMSU, You can offer a range of benefits, including the chance to raise awareness about African culture and history, plan and participate in events and activities that celebrate African heritage, and engage in discussions about issues affecting the continent. African societies provide a platform for networking and building relationships with individuals from diverse backgrounds who share a common interest in Africa. By adopting African society, you can support in broadening the knowledge and understanding of the continent at London Met, and show appreciation to its culture and history. So why not adopt the African society today and build a community that celebrates and honours the rich and diverse heritage of Africa?
How it works:

Being a Student Group Leader of a society is a volunteering opportunity at London Met Students' Union that not only lets you organise activities for the members of the society (this could be people from your course, as well as other students who are also interested in learning more about Fine Art), but also comes with a lot of perks for you: Receive training, support and guidance on how to run their Student Group effectively;
