About this group

Welcome to the our Climate Justice Society page!

PLEASE NOTE: We are looking for a social media manager, secretary and treasurer. Think this can be you? Send us an email :)

You're in the right place if you care for the environment and social issues while meeting new, interesting people.

As you read this, countless trees are being felled, oceans polluted and hundreds of thousands of animals killed. Our goal is to raise awareness inside and outside the university about these issues we face. We want to involve as many people as possible and learn and improve together towards a more sustainable future. Everyone is affected, so they should be aware of the consequences!

What we do:

  • Monthly meetings to discuss relevant environmental and social topics.
  • Meet up and visit climate relevant places as well as restaurants and cafes
  • Online events and guest speakers
  • Encourage each other to become more environmentally aware
  • Live debates
  • Participate in demonstrations

  • President: Sofia Fernandes Pontes
  • Secretary: Role Yet to Fill - IT COULD BE YOU!! - elections soon to come
