Hi my name is Godwin Akinyemi i'm approcachable, confident, and friendly. I already  have a wealth of experince as i have worked and being  part of school of professions, student council and events officer for Afro- carribean society. i feel  that i would be a good addition to the part - time officer for School of professions.. as i would give the student a platform for their opinions and voices to be heard at student union and management level. 

I am passionate about being involved in the decision making process which will help improve students acdemic results while at the same making sure that they have the best possible student experience available. I feel it very important that students should have they say in the direction university is taken. This can be done be increasing student particapation and awareness of what student what through doing dropping sessions, suggestion boxes, email surveys and face to face contact, on issues such as lectures, food, childcare, student financial support, and disalibities services. 

I believe in equality as London MET is a diverse  culture evironment, diffencies should not separate us but help to brings us all together, through events, meetings and talks where we can disscuss or celebrate the importance of being one family. I would strive to keep all students up-to-date with how the university is developing and improving.By keeping all students involved they will get to understand how why things change and how it will benefit all students.
