SU PRESIDENT MANIFESTO

Not for the many/not for the few, representation for ALL!

  1. A special year for the London Met with its diversity and position amongst the academic institutions at home and abroad, so does it require a strong, passionate and determined leadership that leads from the front and transformed dreams into realities.
  2. London Met is my Family and amongst all including Management, Trustees, Academic , Administration and different disciplines within the university is my focus to inspire, engage and involve to achieve success and made everyone at London Met feel proud to work for the betterment of future generation.
  3. My aim is to pursue on behalf of fellow students to convince university to adopt POP (Progress oriented Performances) right from the beginning to the compilation of the degree so that each and every student gets the best out of their University.
  4. Education base activities and events to enhance the knowledge of students.
  5. Address the issues that affect the mental wellbeing of the students while studying and incorporate the academic and professional within the university to research and resolved these by engaging students.
  6. Encouraging all to involve, my aim is to have Monthly Awards for excellence in the field’s right from the Students to Academic, Management to Administration, Security to Reception, Social Services to Counselling and all.
  7. Engaging and incorporating into community around in the surrounding area by   networking from Businesses to Public offices to link knowledge and learning into practical that benefits the community and helps our students to gain confidence and valuable skills while learning.
  8. Accessibility to all at all levels including visible or invisible abilities to ensure all will get the best opportunities to progress.
  9. Willing to bring issues to debate at all levels as and how brought to the attention.
  10. Work along the other important stakeholders of London Met to achieved best for all and raised the profile of the University at home and abroad.

As a matter of fact this is all about feeling passionate for the student Movement during the life at University while studying and investing into future of the generations, to provide leadership that inspires leaders and engage students to lead. Your vote will make a difference if you are willing to represent and work for what is best and who can represent your interests.

 

What I will achieve as your President?

  • Take a lead nationally/ internationally on the issues affecting our students at London Met.
  • Develop and empowerment of leadership skill programme for students at London Met.
  • Plan to host an Alumni and Student leadership annual conference at London Met.
  • All-inclusive events that caters the diversity of London Met and provide an opportunity to all students to host and celebrate Literary, cultural and food festivals of their country at London Met.
  • Ensure we at London Met in 2020 have the state of the art Best Fresher’s Week to inspire across the country.
