Dear Students,

Thank you for replying to our call for solidarity. We have received a huge number of emails from you on how you can help. You can check our statement of solidarity on our website by clicking here

LondonMet SU is a charitable organization. We have created a “Just Giving” page where you can donate to help support those affected by the Russian invasion in Ukraine. All of your donations will go directly to the Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC)- Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal, and will help in providing food, water, shelter, and healthcare to Ukrainian refugees and displaced families.

  • £30 could provide essential hygiene supplies for three people for one month

  • £50 could provide blankets for four families

  • £100 could provide emergency food for two families for one month

    Our target is £2000.

You can donate directly on our Just Giving Page here.

You can share this link with your friends, relatives and colleagues. Feel free to add the link in your social media as well.

What is DEC?

DEC are experts in humanitarian relief with decades of experience responding to crises around the world – from earthquakes to floods as well as conflicts. Five DEC charities are already responding directly or through local partners within Ukraine, while others are working in Poland, Hungary, Moldova, Slovakia, and Romania – to help civilians fleeing the country escape the conflict.
