LMSU's Student Voice Conference took place on Thursday 9th June in the Great Hall at London Met's Holloway Campus.
Students, Student Reps, Student Council members, and other volunteers gathered with LMSU and University staff, academics, external higher education speakers and alumni. Workshops touched on areas like leadership, quality in higher education, political spectrum, employability, and transferable skills and the students as partners' approach to Student Voice
The Keynote address by Councillor Jason Jackson of Islington Council was an inspirational speech touching on the importance of student's voice as a training board for the development of skills for post-University pursuits and the importance of London Met to the local North London community. Students' Union President-Elect Denise Morrison (pictured above) rounded off the highly successful conference by discussing her priorities for the 2022-23 academic year.
