Students' Union Board of Trustees - vacancies

There are two vacancies on the Student' Union's Board of Trustees. Like other charities, the Board of Trustees is the prime decision-making body within the Students' Union. The Board are responsible for the legal, regulatory, financial and strategic direction of the Students' union. They ensure that the Union is run in accordance with its governing documents and complies with charity law and the charity commission. They ensure that the Students' Union effectively consults with its members - student, and other key stakeholders. The Trustee Board is made up of Full-time Officer trustees, student, alumni and external trustees. 

Being a Trustee Board member is a highly responsible role and will involve a degree of responsibility which may take many years to achieve in your chosen profession after graduation. It is a great opportunity to develop skills and experience which will be invaluable for future employability. There are two seats available, one for a undergraduate and one for a postgraduate student. For full information on the Trustee Board please read the Memorandum Article of Association (part 3) and bye-law 14:
