The London Met Aviation Society is a student-led community for anyone with a passion for aviation. While we are an academic society supporting students studying aviation and related subjects, membership is open to all London Met students who share an interest in aviation — whether that interest is professional, academic, private or commercial.

Our aim is to connect students with the aviation industry, develop career opportunities, and create experiences that bring aviation to life. Throughout the year, we organise industry visits, airport and airline experiences, aircraft and museum trips, social events, guest speakers, networking opportunities and activities that allow members to explore the many different sides of aviation.

From piloting and cabin crew to airport operations, aviation management, engineering, airlines and aerospace, the Society provides opportunities to learn, gain experience and connect with fellow students and industry professionals.

You don't have to study aviation to be part of the Aviation Society. Aviation is an industry, a career, a passion and, for many of us, simply a love of flight. That passion doesn't stop at the classroom door — and neither should our Society.

Whether you're working towards a career in aviation, interested in flying privately, fascinated by aircraft, or simply have a love for everything with wings, you're welcome to join us.
