About this group

The society is completely open to all; and students can join for any reason, whether it being to ask a few questions, try and understand more about eastern philosophy, or just try something new. One of the most important things at a University is the SU and the diverse range of services they provide; this society has the potential to add great value to the SU due to its uniqueness and openness as a philosophical society. Life as a student can be very challenging and many will have questions about their own identity, life, and future, so this society offers homage for those with questions to try and help them on their spiritual path. Whether they are a person of faith or not, the society seeks to help anybody, and everybody is the best at what they can be and lead more fulfilling lives.

In each workshop, we will cover exciting new themes that students can really dissect and have interesting debates about. The opportunity to meet new people that are like-minded will hopefully attract many and the fun interactive workshops should maintain a high level of interest. Not forgetting the free food that will be given out at the end of each workshop!

We have found with our fellow societies around the UK, amazing things have been achieved. These events run all year. We also collaborate with one another and last year had a huge event in London. The KC soc is dynamic and diverse, not one that you can get easily bored!
